Packaging fit

Build the presentation around the products inside

A gift box brief is most useful when it explains what the pack must hold, how it will be carried or displayed, and the unboxing experience you want. Folding-carton, sleeve and selected presentation structures can be discussed. Rigid or chipboard construction is never assumed and requires separate feasibility review.

  • Corporate gift and appreciation packs
  • Festive hamper presentation boxes
  • Beauty, fragrance and wellness gift sets
  • Food and confectionery secondary gift packs

Common applications

Formats to discuss around the product

Folding-carton gift packs

Printed paperboard structures that can be supplied flat where the product and packing method permit.

Sleeves and outer wraps

A branded printed sleeve around an existing tray, box or grouped product set.

Festive hamper packaging

Custom-sized presentation packaging reviewed around the actual contents, weight and packing arrangement.

Launch and media kits

Presentation-led packs using relevant print and finishing without assuming a rigid-box construction.

Dividers and product fit

Selected paperboard partitions or fit features reviewed against product dimensions and handling needs.

Premium finishing

Matt or gloss lamination, hot foil, embossing and Spot UV can be quoted where suitable for the artwork and structure.

Specification decisions

Questions to settle before production

Contents and weight

Share every product, its dimensions, packed weight and intended arrangement. These facts affect structure, board and internal support.

Structure and packing

A reference photo is useful, but final construction must be matched to how the box will be assembled, packed, transported and opened.

Artwork and finishing

Mark foil, embossing or Spot UV areas in the artwork where possible. Tooling, area and production suitability are reviewed before confirmation.

Buyer questions

Practical answers before you request a quote

Can Toprint make a custom hamper box from a reference image?

Yes, a reference image can start the discussion. Please also share the products, dimensions, packed weight, preferred quantity and required date. The image is treated as a visual reference, not a production-ready specification.

Can the box include foil and embossing?

Toprint can quote hot foil and embossing for suitable artwork and structures. The marked area, tooling, board, quantity and production method must be reviewed before confirmation.

Do I need a dieline before asking for a quotation?

Not always. Send the contents, target size, reference image or existing sample and any artwork you have. Toprint can identify what is confirmed and what still needs structural review.

What quantity should I provide?

Send the quantity tiers you are seriously comparing. Each tier is costed separately because print setup, tooling and sheet layout affect the unit price.

Are all corporate gift boxes rigid boxes?

No. Some projects suit folding cartons or sleeves; others may need rigid or chipboard construction. Toprint does not assume the build from the words gift box alone and will review the actual contents and presentation requirement.

Start with what you know

Have a packaging brief, artwork PDF or existing box?

Send what you have. Toprint can review the structure, material, print, finishing and quantity options without requiring you to know every technical term.
